2009 Annual Meeting

  The annual Navajo County Fair, Inc. meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.  The location of the meeting is the Navajo County Fairgrounds located at 404 East Hopi Drive in Holbrook, Arizona.

The terms of five board members will expire at that time.  These positions will be filled at the annual meeting.

 
Pursuant to the Navajo County Fair, Inc. Constitution and By-Laws, to be a voting member for the purposes of electing directors and/or to serve as a director on the board, a person must be (a) eighteen years of age or older AND a bona-fide resident of Navajo County and (b) indicate attendance at the annual meeting by writing their name and address on the roster provided OR be approved as a voting member by the board after written application.

Directors shall be nominated and elected at the annual meeting.  Nominations will be accepted verbally or in writing prior to the close of nominations.  Directors are elected by the majority of the vote of the members present.

Following the election of directors, the new board will elect the 2009 officers.

  Board Member Vacancies

  Navajo County Fair, Inc. board is looking for new members to join in support of this non-profit corporation.  We are in need of people with all types of backgrounds.  We are searching for person(s) who know anything from construction to marketing, food service to security, and safety to sponsorship.  If you have expertise and experience please come serve with us.
