W/A Rodeo,

Rodeo News April 1, 2007 edition.

W/A Rodeo was started in the fall of 1966 with six bucking horses by Buster and Barbara Webb. That first year they were the stock
contractor for six rodeos. In 1986, Buster put on 102 rodeos. After
which he vowed he would never try for that many rodeos again as his help hated him and his stock was wore out. Buster has narrowed his rodeo count down to 35 or 40 a year, with the Navajo County Fair & Rodeo being one of them. Buster is a Gold Card Member of the International Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and the New Mexico Rodeo Association (NMRA). Buster has his 60 bucking horses and 40 bulls on his 11 acres and three pastures in San Juan County, NM. Buster also runs a hay business in Bloomfield and runs cattle in southern New Mexico. "When it quits being fun and starts being work is when I'll retire," Buster has said.

W/A Rodeo,
Attention All Bareback Riders - If you draw W/A's Whistling Dixie you will have the chance to win an extra $200 cash!
